Yes, Baader-Meinhof Group. They were a brigade of urban guerilla, the small part of an army. Whatever one’s thinks about communism and terrorism, they were product of their time and culture.

Now about the picture – it’s based on their prison photos but was made in comic book style because that’s what RAF is now, a part of pop culture. Still controversial, even more now, but we look at their actions through lens of 30+ years and we tend romanticise/demonise them. It’s history now.
